Is there a pause button? Is there a way to be with everything as it is now without time moving forward? Is there a path without aging, illness, death? Could blossoms emerge and never fall?

Apparently not.

Painting cherry blossoms in all their glory, I am reminded I can no more easily hold onto beauty as I can hold onto pain. It just keeps moving.

These cherry blossoms are reminders to deeply trust in the ebb and flow of life.
